Volterra in der Toscana ist in ganz Italien berühmt für sein Alabasterhandwerk. Der Künstler A.Gianelli hat die wunderschönen Figuren der Firma Egregia entworfen. Als Material wird bei diesen Arbeiten Alabasterstaub, vermischt mit Harzen, verwendet.

The artist A.Gianelli designed the beautiful figures and busts for the company Egregia. The used material for these works is powder from alabaster, mixed with resins. A bust is a sculpture depicting a person's chest, shoulders, and head, usually supported by a stand. These three-dimensional forms recreate the likeness of an individual. These may be of any suitable material (usually marble or other durable material).
